sstate ("we," "us," or "our") is a website hosted at sstate.co that allows people to share products they've purchased or acquired, along with their experiences, with others. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use sstate. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use sstate. By using sstate, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
3.1. To use sstate, you need to create an account using either Google social login or email. You will also need to choose a unique handle.
3.2. You may be required to join a waiting list before gaining access to sstate. Promotion from the waiting list is at our sole discretion.
3.3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3.4. We reserve the right to suspend, terminate, or restrict your account and access to sstate at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason or no reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.
4.1. You agree to use sstate only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
4.2. You are solely responsible for the content you post on sstate. You agree not to post any content that: Is false, misleading, or inaccurate Infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights Is illegal, harmful, abusive, harassing, or otherwise objectionable Contains malware, viruses, or any other malicious code Violates the privacy or publicity rights of others
4.3. You agree not to engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts sstate or the servers and networks connected to sstate.
4.4. You agree not to scrape, crawl, or use any automated means to access or collect data from sstate without our express written consent.
5.1. sstate and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
5.2. By submitting content to sstate, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the content in connection with sstate and our business operations.
5.3. You may modify content that you have uploaded to sstate. However, you may not use, copy, adapt, modify, prepare derivative works based upon, distribute, license, sell, transfer, publicly display, publicly perform, transmit, stream, broadcast, or otherwise exploit any content from sstate without our express written consent.
5.4. Any use of sstate content for commercial purposes, including but not limited to selling or licensing, requires our explicit written consent and may be subject to additional terms and fees.
6.1. When sharing content from sstate, you must provide proper attribution to both the original content creator and sstate.
6.2. The specific format for attribution will be provided within the sharing tools on the sstate platform. Failure to provide proper attribution may result in the suspension or termination of your account.
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
7.1. Copying, distributing, or disclosing any part of sstate in any medium, including by any automated or non-automated "scraping"
7.2. Using any automated system, including "robots," "spiders," "offline readers," etc., to access sstate
7.3. Transmitting spam, chain letters, or other unsolicited email
7.4. Attempting to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running sstate
7.5. Taking any action that imposes, or may impose, at our sole discretion, an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure
7.6. Uploading invalid data, viruses, worms, or other software agents through sstate
7.7. Collecting or harvesting any personally identifiable information from sstate
7.8. Using sstate for any commercial purposes without our express written consent
7.9. Impersonating another person or otherwise misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity
7.10. Interfering with the proper working of sstate
7.11. Bypassing the measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to sstate
8.1. sstate is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim and negate all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.
8.2. In no event shall sstate, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from: Your access to or use of or inability to access or use sstate Any conduct or content of any third party on sstate Any content obtained from sstate Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
8.3. We do not warrant that: sstate will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location Any errors or defects will be corrected sstate is free of viruses or other harmful components The results of using sstate will meet your requirements
8.4. We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses, or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data, or other proprietary material due to your use of sstate or any services or items obtained through sstate.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless sstate, its parent company, officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:
This defense and indemnification obligation will survive these Terms and your use of sstate.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
11.1. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and/or via email.
11.2. By continuing to access or use sstate after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, please stop using sstate.
